The lead holder has a 8 mm diameter grip and 9 mm hexagonal body shape. The subtle change in body shape links this modern drafting pencil with its wooden pencil ancestors. Top cap comes off to insert refill lead, right above the iconic Rotring red circle. Will refill with any standard 2.0 mm lead.
